The Beginning of the Thing

It has been an incredibly long time coming. After a long writing dry spell that I feared meant I would never publish again, an idea hit me yesterday and is becoming more and more formed today.

A Standalone.

A twist on a classic trope.

I am so excited to write this book and have updates here for yall.

If you don’t know me, and why should you, my first book released in October 2012. Since then, I have published over 40ish books both indie and small pub. Some are still on amazon… some are not (maybe someday again).

I write mostly ghost stories / horror. Haunted houses are my favorites.

I used to go to ALL the book signings.

I was big on fake it till you make it.

Friend, I am tried of faking it. I love my books. LOVE them, but I was being what I thought an author “should” be. For better or worse, I have learned so many lessons through the years.

Anyway, that is a post for another day. I am excited about this new book. The characters already feel real to me. The story is already taking over my mind.

I’m going to take a page from my best literary bud, Dr. Frankenstein, and enjoy the journey.
